Description
- Modified 290 Series welding helmet features replaceable top and bottom (2 separate pieces) leather bib protectors (replacement S21100)
- Originally designed for shipbuilding applications including submarine work, this helmet has since proven effective for other tight/confined space applications.
- Patented Sel-Snap lens retention system provides easy loading of filter, cover and protective plates.
- Features our proprietary SUPER KOOL SILVER COATING which keeps the helmet 30% cooler than standard helmets and sheds spatter without burning.
- Provides maximum operator comfort and safety. Complete with Sellstrom’s patented “quick-release” ratchet headgear suspension with sweatband included (S27001). Comes with standard 2” x4 -1/4” spring loaded positive lock lift front option. Meets ANSI Z87.1 standards.
